IAM2000 held a cheese & wine quiz evening in February to raise funds for a new project ‘Home of Hope’ a second orphanage to be built in India.
IAM2000 would like to thank everyone for their help and support with this event. The evening was a big success and we are delighted to say that we have raised nearly £1,000.
At the end of February the land for the new orphanage was purchased with permission granted to start building. A brand new water bore has also been built to provide water for the building work and for the home when it is completed.
Funds have been sent in March to cover the cost of the foundation work for the orphanage.
Apr/May/June
During April foundation work on the new orphanage was completed. The next lot of funds have been sent to start on building the walls.
‘Impact 2009-2011 project’ update- the latest home to be completed for a pastor and his family with funds sent in April to buy paint for the building.
In May, IAM2000 provided our contacts Moses & Glory who run the orphanage in India with a brand new car. This will help them when travelling around the area and to the new orphanage, which they are over seeing.
